hyein seo // SIRENS SS20

get to know fave womens streetwear brand hyein seo // the belgium based brand was formed back in 2014 by South Korean designer hyein seo (figures) // Seo went to antwerp academy of fine arts whilst there she became known to New York Vfiles team and won an award from British Fashion Council for emerging designer //

the brand has pushed streetwear boundaries from its start with the “FEAR” collection for V files and been experimenting ever since //

the SIRENS SS20 collection i particularly love // an eclectic mixture of 90s inspired punk with ethereal goth chic //

also can we have a moment of appreciation for the hair and accessories styling // that is FIRE // i want to be an pixie now //

if youre in london you can find certain pieces stocked in Browns and machine-a // yes please !!

girls in suits 009 palmer//harding

the next in the female tailoring series comes from Levi Palmer and Matthew Harding // relatively new on the scene launched by the central saint martins pair in 2012 the brand is going from strength to strength //

a bit different to the others in the ‘girls in suits’ series, this is tailoring at its most relaxed and flowing // in fact palmer//harding push the boundaries and our relationship with suiting as they deconstruct and rework traditional garments into new found shapes and experiment with pattern cutting and draping techniques //

i for one am a huge fan of their innovative and contrasting approach to modern tailoring // often mixing the harsh with the soft, feminine amongst the masculine, structured with the flowing //

their cohesive collections of everyday wear littered with more statement pieces are a feast for the eyes //

certainly a brand to add to the work wardrobe for those days when you want to push chic fashion vibes in the office rather than power suiting //

gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous //

nike ACG AW19 lookbook

i have alot of time for nike ACG // allowing us a sneak peak at their latest fall-winter collection “almighty pocket” earlier this week // drop 1 is available TODAY //

switching out the paster colours for more autumnal shades and layers with a few loud brights thrown in there for good measure // functional woven materials and waterproofs for urban and wilderness exploration //

standout pieces for me are the print shirts, hooded anorak and ofcourse those overalls //

the lookbook also features the anticipated React Terra Gobe in matte black //

the collection is available now online and instore //

fashion killer 009 ????

ok so this is a strange one but i cannot find a single bit of info about this fashionista @wwwoeoe (insta) // consistently spotted at fashion weeks killing the style game // i’ve seen her crop up from time to time on street style watch etc and i can safely say never seen this chick in a bad outfit //

pushing boundaries with some of her daring looks // mixing textures and colours effortlessly with a good mix of our favourite designers and unknown brands //

PLZ TELL ME MORE //

ports 1961 summer 19 rtw

for easy summer outfits look no further than the Ports 1961 ready to wear collection // filled with wonderful textiles and thigh skimming skirts alongside laid back oversized tailoring //

i’ve always been a fan of ports 1961 this collection had a gorgeous femininity whilst creative director Natasa Cagalj brought a retro feel to some of the looks with her use of rope knots and handwoven plaits // some were complete with wooden beads //

such a fan!! that pink shirt dress is to die for //

girls in suits 008 Peter Do

next in the female tailoring series is newly formed new-york based Peter Do // trained by none other than phoebe philo Do’s own label has a lovely minimalism and chic tailoring promising to flatter all shapes and sizes //

in his first season Do honed his aspiration for the label “It’s about building a modern uniform and wardrobe for women.” // i adore the asymmetric look of many of the suits && the sleek layers // the craftsmanship and quality looks superb //

the designers own fabric ‘spacer’ crops up alot // a kind of combination of mesh sponge and neoprene which he has been refining over his career //

also a huge fan of his large heart shaped open locket earrings //

any of these suits would be the perfect glow up to your office style // power dressing on point // you can buy the latest peter do collection from his website and netaporter //
